While the online payment link works through Stripe (card + Apple Pay + Google Pay), you can also configure invoices to show instructions for alternative payment methods like PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, ACH, etc.

Do I need a Stripe account to use invoicing?
Yes, to accept credit card and digital payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay), you'll need to connect a Stripe account. Setting up a Stripe account is free and takes about 10 minutes. If you already have a Stripe account, just connect it to CleanerSync.
Does Cleaner Sync take a percentage of my payments?
No. We don't take any percentage of your payments. Stripe charges standard processing fees (around 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction), but CleanerSync doesn't add any additional fees. Your money goes directly from the client to your Stripe account.
How fast does the money reach my bank?
Stripe typically deposits funds to your bank account within 2 business days. Some accounts may qualify for instant payouts (funds arrive within minutes), depending on your bank and Stripe settings.
Can clients see my payment history?
No. Clients can only see their own invoices and payment history. They don't have access to your business-wide payment records, other clients' data, or your overall revenue.
What if a client doesn't pay by credit card?
No problem. You can still send professional invoices and manually mark them as paid when you receive payment via check, cash, Zelle, PayPal, or any other method. The invoice system works for all payment types, not just card payments.
Is it awkward asking cleaning clients to pay online?
Not at all. Most clients prefer online payment because it's faster and more convenient than writing checks or arranging bank transfers. Offering online payment actually makes you look more professional and modern compared to competitors who only accept cash or checks.
Can I export invoices for my accountant?
